How many of us feel exhausted and unmotivated during our period? (Raises hand). And That's On Period! aimed to explore and discuss methods to enhance your mood, boost energy, and support mental health while on your period.


Let's be clear. Exercising during your period is highly advantageous. It helps reduce bloating, can make your menstrual flow lighter, and naturally enhances your mood. During exercise, your body usually releases endorphins. These endorphins interact with brain receptors to lessen your perception of pain.

Exercise can alleviate many of the challenging and exhausting symptoms associated with your period.

Jogging or walking is one of the most effective, simple, and efficient exercises to do during your period. At this time, it's important to find ways to counteract feelings of fatigue and being overwhelmed. Discovering methods to comfort yourself can enhance your mood, and exercise is a primary strategy to address the fluctuating feelings, moods, and attitudes during your period. I love this journal because it’s so true. I’ve played sports my whole life but have the worst cramps during my cycle. Working out has always helped ease the pain. Now that I’m older it is tough to workout because I feel so bloated and drained but I force myself and feel much better afterwards. ❤️
