How many of us feel drained and do not want to do anything while on your period? (Raises hand). And That's On Period! wanted to research and discuss ways to boost your mood, increase energy, and improve mental health while being on your period.


Let's be clear. Exercise on your period is extremely beneficial. Exercise reduces bloating, can even cause your period flow tone lighter, and naturally improves moods. When you are exercising your body typically releases endorphins. Endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception

of pain. This chemical also triggers a positive feeling in the body similar to that of morphine. EXCUSE ME?

Yes! Our bodies are built to protect us. Let's do all of the things that help chase endorphins because this chemical makes us feel better. We deserve to feel good while experiencing our periods. Exercise is an easy and natural way to help heal our minds and bodies during this changing time.


Exercise can help eliminate most of the problematic and draining symptoms of experiencing your period.

Jogging/Walking is one of the most effective, easy, and efficient ways to exercise on your period. During this time we have to find ways to combat feeling fatigued and overwhelmed. Finding ways to soothe yourself will help boost your mood and exercise is a first line of defense against the changing feelings, moods and attitudes while experiencing your period.
